Praise Services Continuing our series of Praise Services, the next one will be a Songs of Praise on Sunday 7 July at 10.30am. Each praise service will have a different focus and format. And in preparing for the next one, members of the congregation are invited to think about their favourite hymns/songs, both old and new! Please complete the suggestion slips which can be found on the table near “Our Joys & Frustrations” and put your choices in the plastic Envelope. Thank you -oOo- Experience Pentecost Come and journey through the story of Pentecost, and the beginning of the Church. Reflect on the different aspects of Pentecost and explore more about the Holy Spirit. This will be held at Boothstown Methodist Church on Tuesday 11 June 2.45 pm – 4.30 pm, and again on the 13 June at Walkden Methodist Church 12.15 pm – 2 pm You are welcome to join us for as little or as long as you wish Refreshments will be served -oOo- Team Dot Bolton Hospice Midnight Memories walk 2019 On June 15, Team Dot, will be partaking in the annual Midnight walk, and our granddaughter Grace will be joining us. Along with anyone else who would like to Join us. The walk is in memory of family, friends, and church family who are suffering from terminal illness. Sponsorship and prayers will be most welcome. Strawberry Cream Tea On Saturday 13th July we will be having a Strawberry Cream Tea at Church from 1pm until 3pm a few people from Lighthouse Fellowship have offered to help but help from other people would be greatly appreciated either on the day or, preparing the hall, baking cakes for a stall (always a winner) and if anyone has any ideas of other thing we can do to bring people in that would be appreciated also, please see Ann Stephenson Price and further details later -oOo-
An Evening of Hope This event will be held at Bolton Victoria Hall on Sat 15th June: 7-9pm An Ecumenical Concert to celebrate the Hope that Jesus brings to Bolton through music and prayer with contributions from a range of Christian Churches, including Millennium Chapel Gospel Choir and two local schools. Beatles Sing along On Saturday the 3rd of August 2019 the Kaleidoscope Pies are doing a Beatles sing along, tickets are £10 per person and doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The ticket price includes a pasty and peas supper and there will be a raffle – all to raise money for the great work Urban Outreach does!
